Early Embarkation test prices differ between US and Canadian ports:

Port Canaveral and Port of Miami:

  • Near Terminal Antigen Test – $46.58 USD per guest
  • Near Terminal PCR test – $98.33 USD per guest
  • At-Port Antigen Test – $77.63 USD per guest

After you order your Early Embarkation At-Home Test through Safe Passage, you will be emailed a Zoom link for the telehealth appointment.

All members of your party who have purchased Inspire At-Home Antigen Tests may test in the same Zoom session. A single At-Home Test order can be placed for all vaccinated guests in your reservation. Please see your confirmation email for details.

All guests can either schedule their telehealth appointments in their own time zone or in Eastern Standard Time. All appointments will be displayed back to the guest in Eastern Standard Time.

Inspire Diagnostics, LLC. is unable to accept returns of any COVID-19 testing kits for resale. Accordingly, ALL SALES OF COVID-19 HOME TESTS ARE FINAL.

Inspire Diagnostics will refund guests as follows for canceled Early Embarkation Test orders:

Full refund is available for:

  • Any canceled At-Home Tests that have not yet been shipped by Inspire to the guest, for any reason.
  • Any On-Site Test canceled more than 24 hours in advance.

Partial refund is available for any On-Site Test canceled less than 24 hours in advance.

Not Cancelable/No Refund:

  • At-Home Antigen Tests that have been shipped by Inspire to the guest
  • Any completed Early Embarkation Test
  • Refund requests made more than 45 days after the transaction date

How to Cancel: A guest must initiate a cancellation request by contacting the Inspire Support Center (877-250-5132 or DCLsupport@inspirediagnostics.com)

Results will be automatically updated in your Safe Passage account after your telehealth appointment. There is no action required by you.

Yes, at-port testing will be available for guests. They will order the tests through their Safe Passage accounts.

The Inspire Diagnostics team will take up to 24 hours to review any uploaded documentation. If it has been over 24 hours, contact the Inspire Support Center (877-250-5132 or DCLsupport@inspirediagnostics.com).

Results are typically released within 30-45 minutes.

Guests in a reservation can arrive at the port separately. However, all guests must be checked in, and all guests’ Embarkation Test results must be negative before any guest in the reservation can board the ship. If one of the guests tests positive, no one in the reservation will be cleared to sail.

Embarkation Test results will be available in the Embarkation Screening section of the Safe Passage Home Page.

Guests Sailing On or After September 2, 2022

COVID-19 Testing Requirements for Fully Vaccinated Guests:

  • Fully vaccinated Guests on sailings departing US and Canadian ports must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result (paid for by the Guest) taken 1 to 2 days before setting sail to be exempt from embarkation testing at the terminal. Completing pre-trip testing prior to embarkation day enhances the efficiency of boarding and confirms that you are negative for COVID-19 prior to traveling to the terminal. Pre-trip test results must be uploaded into the Inspire Diagnostics Safe Passage website by midnight prior to embarkation day.
  • Antigen tests must be completed using a proctored in-person or telehealth service and come with digital results that can be uploaded to the Safe Passage website. A nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) or PCR test also is acceptable. Guests can purchase COVID-19 tests through the Inspire Diagnostics Safe Passage website, or obtain a test from any independent online testing supplier or pharmacy.
  • Fully vaccinated Guests who upload their pre-trip test results to the Safe Passage website by midnight prior to embarkation day will be exempt from embarkation testing. Fully vaccinated Guests who do not upload test results by midnight prior to embarkation day must be tested at the terminal on embarkation day before boarding the ship and will be charged for the cost of the test.
  • Guests with positive COVID-19 test results are required to complete a second confirmatory test. Guests with confirmed positive test results—as well as those sharing the same stateroom and other close contacts—will be denied boarding.

COVID-19 Testing for Guests Not Fully Vaccinated:

  • Guests who are not fully vaccinated must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken 1 to 3 days before the sail date. The test should be a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT), a rapid PCR test or a lab-based PCR test. Rapid antigen tests are not accepted. This will be the first of 2 tests required for Guests not fully vaccinated; the second test will be conducted at the terminal on embarkation day.
  • Guests who are not fully vaccinated are required to complete a COVID-19 test at the terminal prior to boarding on embarkation day (paid for by Disney Cruise Line). Guests with positive COVID-19 test results are required to undergo a second confirmatory test. Guests with confirmed positive test results—as well as those sharing the same stateroom and other close contacts—will be denied boarding.

Guests who are not fully vaccinated are required to complete a COVID-19 test at the terminal prior to embarkation (paid for by Disney Cruise Line).

Please note that Inspire at-home PCR tests are only intended for guests who are not fully vaccinated, as the test sample must be mailed to the Inspire lab 3 days before the guest’s sail date.

Disney Cruise Line guests can order at-home antigen tests from Inspire once they register in Safe Passage within 15 days of their sail date.

After a guest orders their Early Embarkation At-Home Test through Safe Passage, they will be emailed a Zoom link for the telehealth appointment.

Inspire Diagnostics will refund guests as follows for cancelled Early Embarkation home test kit orders:

Full refund is available for:

  • Any test kit orders that have not yet been shipped by Inspire to the guest for any reason.
  • Any test kit orders, regardless of shipment or completion status, due to a change caused by no fault of the guest (cancellation/rescheduling of a cruise reservation initiated by DCL, change in DCL testing requirement, or delays in delivery which resulted in a test kit not arriving before the observed telehealth appointment).

Not Cancelable/No Refund:

  • Any test kit orders that have been shipped by Inspire to the guest
  • Refund requests made more than 45 days after the transaction date

How to Cancel: A guest must initiate a cancellation request within 45 days of order date or change date, whichever is later, by contacting the Inspire Support Center 1-877-250-5132 or DCLsupport@inspirediagnostics.com.

Inspire Diagnostics will refund guests as follows for cancelled on-site test orders:

Full refund for:

  • Any on-site tests cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of scheduled date/time.
  • Any on-site tests cancelled due to a change caused by no fault of the guest (cancellation/rescheduling of a cruise reservation initiated by DCL or change in DCL testing requirements).

Partial refund for cancellation requests for any scheduled on-site tests less than 24 hours before the test date.

Not Cancellable/No Refund: Cancellations are not accepted after 45 days of order date or change date. No refund for tests that have been completed by the Inspire Lab.

How to Cancel: A guest must initiate a cancellation request within 45 days of order date or change date, whichever is later, by contacting the Inspire Support Center 1-877-250-5132 or DCLsupport@inspirediagnostics.com.

Guests who do not submit Early Embarkation Test results to Safe Passage by midnight before their sail date must be tested at the terminal on embarkation day and will be charged for the cost of the test. Guests must indicate in Safe Passage whether they plan to be tested at the port on the day of embarkation.

Third-party Early Embarkation Test results must include the guest’s full name and date of birth, the sample collection date, the test result, and the test type. Permitted test types are proctored antigen tests, NAAT, and PCR tests.

The Inspire Diagnostics team will take up to 24 hours to review third-party test results uploaded to Safe Passage. If it has been over 24 hours, contact the Inspire Support Center (877-250-5132 or DCLsupport@inspirediagnostics.com).

Antigen Test results are typically released within 30-45 minutes. Confirmatory PCR tests take an additional 30-45 minutes.
