Recognizing the need for an easy and convenient way to test guests for their upcoming vacations, Inspire Diagnostics and Unisys Corporation have partnered with The Travel Corporation to create a No Cost* at-home testing program.
Our goal is to let our travel community get back to exploring safely and with peace of mind.
*Inspire Diagnostics will bill your health plan, the government, a government health plan or the uninsured fund for the testing. There will be no patient out-of-pocket cost. For those individuals wishing to pay personally rather than having it submitted to their health plan, the price is $119 for testing, plus $10 for electronic order review by an authorized 3rd party provider.
Why Frequent Testing is Important
COVID-19 is a virus that is very infectious between 3 to 10 days from the time of infection

The two home kits you receive are PCR lab tests, the current gold standard for COVID-19 testing. PCR tests will show whether are currently infected with SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus causing COVID-19.
Unless you are fully vaccinated for your trip, you should order your test kits about 30 days before your departure. After you complete your test registration, it will take 2 to 3 days to receive your two PCR home tests.
Please take your pre-trip test 3 days before the trip and ship it back the same day. We contract with UPS for shipping to the lab, and it will take between 24 and 48 hours to receive test results from the time the sample is received at the lab.
Currently, our turnaround time is 24 to 48 hours from the time the sample is received at the lab. As the testing conditions can change, please stay up to date on the estimated turnaround time.
Once the test results are ready, you will be notified to check our secure online patient portal via the email address or phone number that was provided during registration. Results are delivered directly to your smartphone or computer as preferred by you.
Yes, Inspire Diagnostics is a state-approved test partner Hawaii and our test fulfills the molecular test requirements for the State of Alaska. Please be sure, though, to check the state requirements shortly before you travel as requirements do change.
No, due to the necessary shipping and processing time for home kits, there will not be enough time to turn around your test. We recommend a visit to a local lab or pharmacy (CVS, Walgreens or similar) to secure a last-minute test.
Yes, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) currently recommend a viral test 3 to 5 days after the trip and you can use the second test kit for your post-trip test.
