American Queen Voyages Onsite, Pre-Cruise Testing

American Queen Voyages has partnered with Inspire Diagnostics to provide hassle-free, pre- cruise supervised testing for our guests to meet CDC requirements for boarding your cruise.

Guest will provide their personal information and consent to share their testing results with American Queen Voyages during the cruise registration process. AQV will forward this information to Inspire Diagnostics. Inspire will register all guests for testing.

Guests will receive an email confirming their registration for testing. This letter will include instructions for testing.

You do not need to bring the letter/email. Provide your name and date of birth during testing and American Queen Voyages  will provide information on your check-in process.

Testing will take place one day prior to your sail date at the pre-cruise hotel designated by  American Queen Voyages.

Testing will take place as part of the cruise onboarding process. You will be directed to the testing area by an American Queen Voyages representative. Guest will then proceed to be tested.

Guest will be tested with an FDA-approved rapid, antigen test. The test is self-administered  under observation. The test uses a nasal swab, inserted about 1” into each nostril for 7-10 seconds.

Guests will not be contacted by Inspire Diagnostics unless a positive result for COVID-19 is detected.

Any positive result on the rapid antigen test will trigger a rapid, onsite PCR test. PCR results will be available in approximately one hour. A negative PCR test result would override a positive antigen test result. Guest should isolate while awaiting PCR results.

Any guest testing positive should follow the CDC guidelines for quarantine and isolation.
