Frequently Asked Questions
Full or partial cancellation refunds are available prior to the scheduled test date depending on the timing of the cancellation request:
- Full refunds ($98.33 for PCR or $41.40 for antigen) are available for on-site tests cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled test.
- Partial refunds ($77.63 for PCR or $32.70 for antigen) are available for tests cancelled less than 24 hours before your scheduled test.
- Tests that are already in progress or completed by the Inspire lab are not cancellable/refundable.

If you took a PCR test, the results will be emailed to you from Radeas Labs.
If you took an Antigen test, the results will be emailed to you from Inspire Diagnostics.
If you took a PCR test and its result is inconclusive, the back-up sample collected during the appointment will be processed in the lab. The back-up PCR sample will not be processed if the first sample result is positive.
If you took an Antigen test and its result is inconclusive, you will be retested at port.
Results will be provided directly to the Guest electronically via email. Results will not be provided to your airline.
Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 as well as close contacts should follow the CDC guidance for quarantining and isolation here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html. You may isolate or quarantine in your own home. Note that per the CDC, travel on scheduled passenger airline flights or other public transportation into, from, or within the United States by people with COVID-19 and any close contacts who are not fully-vaccinated is prohibited until they have met CDC criteria for discontinuing isolation or quarantine. Close contacts who are fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days may travel on passenger airline flights, subject to the airline’s policies.
After completing the test, Guests who are taking the PCR test may proceed to their post-cruise destination. Results will be provided directly to the Guest electronically via email within 1-2 hours. Guests who are taking the antigen test will be asked to wait in the test waiting area for their results. Antigen test results are provided directly to the Guest electronically via email within 45-60 minutes.
Guests should book and pay for an appointment via the Safe Passage website. Reservations can be made on Safe Passage through the day of embarkation. Testing is conducted at the terminal after disembarking the ship in the morning.
The cost is $41.40 per person for antigen testing and $98.33 per person for PCR testing.
US Ports: Testing is conveniently located at the terminal between 8:30-10:00 AM on the day of disembarkation at the end of your cruise.
Canada Port: Testing is at an offsite location near the terminal 8:00-11:00 AM on the day of disembarkation at the end of your cruise. Locations will be sent in the appointment reminder email send the day before debark.

Guests are responsible for knowing what type of test (antigen or PCR) their home country/home state requires, and the window of time in which it must be conducted.
Some Guests may be required by their home country or state public health authorities to show proof of a negative COVID-19 antigen or PCR test result before returning home. Inspire Diagnostics, Disney Cruise Line’s third-party testing provider, offers this optional service at the terminal area upon cruise disembarkation.
